This class assumes you’re already familiar with editing your photos in Lightroom.

The Masking tool will be covered in depth, addressing the following topics:- Types of masking:
- Selecting specific features of a person’s face or body
- Selecting the sky, or an individual subject/object
- Linear Gradient masks
- Radial Gradient masks
- Color Range and Luminance Range masks
- Masking techniques:
- Inverting
- Duplicating
- Adding or Subtracting from a mask
All students will receive a pdf handout with tips, tricks and screen shots. It'll be your post-class companion when you're back at home editing your photos.This class is not appropriate for someone new to Lightroom. Students are expected to be familiar using the editing tools as well as importing images. If you’re new to Lightroom or struggle with it, please consider taking the Getting Started with Lightroom (Cloud or Classic) class before taking this class.
Note: This class is appropriate for either version of Lightroom - Lightroom Classic or Lightroom Cloud.
Students will need to bring their own laptop (desktops are fine too) or tablet loaded with Lightroom.
