Description

Introduce your child to the joy and satisfaction of playing music by enrolling them in this fun and nurturing beginner guitar class. Students will master the fundamentals of guitar technique, including proper posture and hand position, effective strumming techniques, basic open chords, and rhythmic patterns that form the foundation of guitar playing. Each weekly session builds confidence progressively through hands-on practice, simple songs your child will recognize and enjoy, and creative activities designed specifically for young learners.

No prior musical experience is required or necessary for enrollment. However, students must bring their own acoustic or electric guitar with a portable amplifier if using an electric instrument.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds or transfers after a class begins. Requests to withdraw from a class or transfer to another Community Services class must be done 5 OR MORE DAYS prior to the first class meeting. There is a $15 service charge per class for each refund or transfer requested. If you enrolled in a class less than 5 days prior to the first class meeting, NO refunds will be given. There are no refunds or credits for absences and late registrations are not pro-rated. Missed class meetings may not be made up in another class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
