An immersive experience in Los Angeles featuring site visits, technical workshops and industry Q&As, focusing on living and working in Hollywood.
The connectLA program will be a one-week immersive experience where participants will come together to explore the opportunities in the industry. The setting will be an ideal space to network, explore, and gain mentorship experience or connections in an environment conducive to learning under the guidance of faculty and industry professionals. Great start for those who are thinking of relocating upon graduating from school. When applicable visit with and hear from film school alums and industry professionals, how they began the process of making contacts, exploring neighborhoods, and their creative in which they started to make inroads in the industry.
The seminar will include production site visits, tours, and a hands-on technical session with industry gear and crew. The program will be a fully guided experience organized by the IFI, offered in collaboration with Los Angeles based rental facilities, instructors, and tech professionals.

Tuition includes all program activities, guest speaker Q&As, and hands-on sessions.
Tuition does not include travel, housing, and meals not included as part of the program.
No Experience necessary to participate in the connectLA program. No additional expenses, beyond tuition, will be required. All course materials will be provided. Final schedule will be available prior to the start of the program. Please note that the program begins on a Monday and ends on a Friday. We begin promptly at 10:00 AM unless otherwise specified.
