What you'll learn in this calligraphy class:
In most schools, cursive lessons are replaced by typing lessons. In an attempt to save the beautiful art, Erica Tighe of Be a Heart will be in the studio teaching young people calligraphy. Not only will they learn their cursive letters if they don’t already know them, but they will also learn to do it with traditional dipping ink and nib. It is a wonderfully relaxing activity that they will be able to continue practicing at home as a quiet hobby.
Erica has years of experience teaching children and is so excited about passing on her love for calligraphy. She wishes she had only stuck with it when her mom taught her 17 years ago.
