Question from Anonymous
Will they show how to make perfect macarons? I struggle with hollows at this altitude, would they teach me how to make them perfect?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! The instructor does talk about how to make perfect macarons. She demos them and then each person makes a batch, and then they make a second one so they can work on their technique. We also critique all of the macarons at the end of class and discuss what went well and what could be done better. The goal is for everyone to be able to make perfect macarons when they leave class.

I had a fantastic time learning how to make Macarons. The teacher was fabulous.. The only thing that I think could be improved, they need a mixer for each student and definitely two ovens. Everyone at the class made 2 batches of Macarons. She was very detailed in her directions and always was there to help with any questions.. I would recommend this class to everyone..

There weren't enough supplies for each student, but it was a good time.

The only reason I did not rate it as a five was because some of the kitchen tools were hard to use. Sifters would have been nice as opposed to a sieve, the whisk available to me was too heavy and there was only one beater for eight people. Otherwise, fantastic class.
