The class covers the basics of molding and casting. Study the principals of “draft” while reproducing an object which we provide. Create single objects using clay, wax, and plaster. Later, cast more complicated forms, your own original art or other objects which you provide. Learn to prepare waxes to cast in aluminum or bronze, producing pieces for a fraction of the standard foundry fee.
