MWI takes great pride in our focus on customer service. Our partnership approach to service delivery guides our process and enables us to fully understand our clients’ challenges and long-term goals. We use that understanding and relationship to develop programs and services that meet our clients' needs, match their organizational culture, and exceed their expectations.
As a private 501(c) 3 not-for-profit corporation, MWI is also committed to serving income-eligible clients through MWI’s Public Service Initiatives that work to prevent homelessness with eviction mediation services, provide mediation services to pro-se litigants onsite at multiple Massachusetts District and Municipal Courts, empower women to become more effective advocates for themselves and their children, and provide mediation services to at-risk children and their families, never married parents, and parents seeking divorce.
MWI also has expertise in meeting facilitation, organizational ombuds services, and dispute resolution system design. Our services have helped countless organizations to resolve conflict more productively, often resulting in significant reductions in litigation costs and the renewed ability to focus on external business issues.
I have participated in several basic and advanced mediation trainings and internships in several locations in Boston and Cambridge. I strongly recommend MWI. Josh and Marcus provide well-organized, thoughtful workshops at the Liberty Square location. The case scenarios are designed to elicit deep analysis. I have observed Josh providing valuable feedback to new mediators. His internship program at a divorce court provides an excellent opportunities to learn both skills and law. Josh is generous with his time; he is always available to provide professional mentoring. In addition to providing formal mediation training opportunities, Josh has also created a community where mediators receive ongoing professional development and networking. He offers a monthly lecture series in which participants hear about fascinating topics, such as neurobiology. Josh goes 'above and beyond'.
This program offers an array of excellent programs to train mediators. I strongly recommend the court divorce mediation internship as a way to obtain practical experience. Josh Hoch is a thoughtful mentor who is generous with his time.
