PoliciesPrice Match GuaranteeIf you find a similar event with a competitor at a lower price, we’ll gladly match it. This applies to events of comparable description and duration. Simply provide the details when booking, or within 72 hours of your booking, and we’ll ensure you get the best value. Contact an event concierge to get started. Cancellation PolicyBookings are non-refundable – but they may be transferred to another group prior to your scheduled event, subject to the requirements outlined below. If you need to change your date, please provide as much notice as possible — ideally at least one week. If you want to give your rebooking credit to another group, we will honor that. We ask that, if you need to rebook, you do so within one year of the original booking. Rebooking or Transfer Notice Requirements: If you request to postpone or transfer your event with fewer than 72 hours’ notice, a rebooking premium of $150 per 20 participants will apply, calculated proportionally (e.g., $225 for 30 participants, $300 for 40, etc.). A minimum fee of $150 will apply for groups smaller than 20 participants. Participants may be added to your booking at any time prior to the event. Additional charges will apply based on the current rate per participant, due before the event begins. We plan and staff our events based on the confirmed participant count provided in advance, so all final numbers must be established prior to the event. We do not conduct headcounts on-site or adjust the final cost based on actual attendance. Once an event has taken place, no portion of the booking is transferrable or eligible for future credit. Outdoor events may be moved indoors for any reason, including inclement weather, pending availability. We request at least 24 hours’ notice for any change of hunt selection. If a museum hunt is selected, museum admission is sold separately. In the event of a force majeure — such as a public transportation shutdown, city-wide emergency, or government-issued order advising people to stay home — your event will be rescheduled to a mutually agreed future date. |

Join our Wonders of Williamsburg scavenger hunt, where teams race through the eclectic streets of one of New York City's most dynamic neighborhoods, decoding clues about its captivating murals, unique local businesses, historical landmarks, and the fascinating characters who shaped its identity over generations.
Williamsburg was an independent city before being incorporated into Brooklyn in 1855, and it carries a rich industrial legacy, having housed notable factories including Dutch Mustard, Esquire Shoe Polish, and the iconic Domino Sugar refinery. The neighborhood's transformation into a creative hub began in the 1980s and continues to unfold today in ways that make every visit feel different from the last.
Your adventure begins at McCarren Park. Racing against the clock and each other, teams will explore:
- Beloved local gathering spots, including The Levee, Radegast Hall and Biergarten, and Teddy's Bar and Grill, each with its own distinctive history
- Marsha P. Johnson Park, adorned with thoughtful infographics honoring her legacy as a pioneering activist and participant in the Stonewall uprising
- Creative video challenges inspired by Williamsburg's celebrated artistic community, including local luminaries like Barry Manilow, Peter Criss, Jerry Stiller, and Mel Brooks
- Striking murals throughout the neighborhood, including works at Faherty, Warby Parker, and Brooklyn Brewery
- National Sawdust, one of Williamsburg's most innovative cultural venues, is dedicated to supporting boundary-pushing artists and experimental performance

Booking: select your date, time, and participant count. We send a confirmation and invoice to secure your spot. We stay in touch through the event to address any questions or special requests.
Prior to the event, our staff reaches out to your group leader to confirm details and ensure everything is in place. On the day, we are at the starting point, ready to welcome everyone, form teams, explain the rules, and launch the competition.
Throughout the hunt, teams work together to decode clues, strategize their route, and uncover Williamsburg's hidden stories. Our staff is available along the way for assistance and guidance.
The entire event is managed by our on-site team. Here is a summary of what your teams will need to know before they begin:
- Teams must stay together throughout the hunt - no splitting up to cover different areas at once.
- Bold words in the clues indicate exactly where to look for answers.
- The hunt has a two-hour maximum runtime, though teams that finish ahead of schedule are welcome to wrap up early.
- Teams plan their own route and can tackle clues in any sequence - reading ahead often reveals strategic advantages.
- Several photo and video challenges must be completed with team phones and are reviewed at the conclusion for scoring.
- The team with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, order of arrival at the endpoint decides the champion.
- The phrase puzzle on the final page is essential for a competitive score - do not skip it.
Prizes can be arranged for the winning team, and our event staff is available after the hunt to answer questions, debrief on the clues, and celebrate the result.
As the hunt concludes, teams reconvene at the endpoint for scoring and winner announcements. Prizes await the victorious team, and we stay available afterward to discuss memorable moments and answer any questions.
