Join us for the Fortunes of the Flatiron District scavenger hunt, where you’ll race through the dynamic streets and parks of this renowned neighborhood, solving intriguing clues that lead to fascinating landmarks. The Flatiron District, named after the iconic triangular Flatiron Building, boasts a rich history. Once a swamp and potters’ field in colonial times, it has evolved from a commercial and manufacturing hub to a thriving residential area. Gather your teams and prepare for an adventure!

Our Fortunes of the Flatiron District scavenger hunt is a game of strategy, collaboration, and communication, where teams work together to solve clues, complete the puzzle first, and outwit their opponents to win. Ready for the challenge? Let’s go!
How it works: We organize, staff, and fully manage all our scavenger hunts. You just show up and dive into an epic competition! Our staff facilitates the entire event in person, guiding and judging the competition.
To book a hunt, select a date, time, and number of participants. We’ll send you a booking confirmation and invoice. Once finalized, you’re on the calendar! We’ll stay in touch to answer questions and accommodate any special requests.
Before the hunt (usually a day or two prior), our staff will contact your group leader to confirm details and address any logistical questions.
On the day of your hunt: We’ll be in place at the designated time and location before your arrival. Whether your group arrives all at once or trickles in, we’ll help gather everyone and get participants settled.
When we’re ready to start, we’ll capture everyone’s attention and form teams of 4 to 6 participants. You can pre-arrange teams if you prefer.
The Introduction: After forming the teams, we’ll give a brief speech explaining the hunt rules. This is a competition between your teams! One team will emerge victorious. Who will it be?!
We’ll distribute clues, a clipboard, and a pen to each team. The race is on!
Teams will read, discuss, and strategize on how to begin and where to go first. Taking time upfront to plan is key to success.
This hunt is a fantastic team building exercise as participants work together to solve our clues. We’re always available for hints and support if needed.
Teams will search high and low for answers, exploring fixtures, items, and elements worthy of discovery. You’ll see the essence of New York City through this hunt. Don’t linger too long on any one clue – aim for the highest score and a quick finish!
As the hunt concludes, teams meet our staff at the designated ending location.
We’ll take a few minutes to tally the scores, then announce the winners. Bragging rights are always the best prize, but you can also provide additional rewards. We can text results if needed, but prefer live announcements!
Afterward, we’ll be available to answer questions or address any challenges about the clues. We can handle it!
If you find a similar event with a competitor at a lower price, we’ll gladly match it. This applies to events of comparable description and duration.
