    Chef Samantha was very funny, attentive and helpful. She shared many useful tips that could be applied to baking outside of just croissants (IE - different temperatures for gas v convention ovens and proofing in a home oven).     It was great and Emily was a kind and helpful instructor. The time went by fast and maybe it could have been 30 min longer. It's tough to jutify that from a financial perspective though. It felt fast paced to get everthing baked in time (could be I was just slow lol) but it was fun.

    Emily was a great instructor and the class was a lot of fun. We met some cool people and learned a lot about the process of making croissants. The best part, obviously, was smelling the croissants as they came out of the oven and eating them fresh and piping hot. Honestly, some of the best croissants I’ve ever had. I like the set up of the class as well so that we were able to experience each part of the croissant making process but still able to eat our creations. Will definitely be back for some of their other classes.

    My friend and I took the Bake Your Own French Croissant class for a birthday celebration - we had a great time. The instructor was a master of his craft but was able to teach in a way that was easy to understand. He leaned into his dry French humor, which made the class all the more fun. I have more appreciation for all croissants now, knowing the amount of work and time it takes to create these perfectly laminated deliciousness.

    Taking this course was one of the most fun and educational experiences ever! The course is designed to concentrate a multiple day project into a few hours in which the students get to participate in every step of the process from creating the dough, doing the turns, and forming the croissants. Chef Makenna and Assistant Paola (super stars) were wonderful in presenting clear instructions, excellent demonstrations and giving individual attention. I brought home 8 super large croissants which were gladly consumed. I can't wait to take another class.
