Our American Museum of Natural History scavenger hunt tests strategy, collaboration, and communication as teams search for clues, solve puzzles, and outsmart opponents to emerge victorious. Keep your eyes peeled in every direction as answers could be hidden anywhere!

Secret City acts as a third-party activity provider and does not represent the museum. Please check the museum's calendar to ensure your chosen date/time does not coincide with major events. Museum admission is separate from our booking.

Regarding admission: Admission fees are additional to our service. As of 2021, the museum requires timed reservations. Secret City can assist in group reservations of 20 or more participants at a discounted rate. Otherwise, you're welcome to purchase your own museum admission.

How it works: We organize, staff, and oversee all aspects of our scavenger hunts. Simply choose a date, time, and number of participants, and we'll handle the rest. Upon booking confirmation and invoice settlement, you're all set! We'll maintain communication and address any queries leading up to the event. Should you have special requests, let us know during this time.

Prior to the hunt, our staff will reach out to your group leader to finalize details and address logistical questions.

On the day of the hunt: We'll be ready at the designated time and location before your arrival, assisting in gathering participants. Teams, typically comprising 4-5 members, will be formed (feel free to pre-arrange teams if desired).

Introduction: Following team formation, we'll explain the rules of the hunt in a brief speech. Remember, it's a competition! Groups must stick together, follow bold clues, and strategize collaboratively. The hunt has a maximum duration of 2 hours, but early submission is permitted. Points are earned through teamwork and completion of challenges, with tiebreakers determined by arrival order.

Then, each group receives a copy of the clues, along with necessary materials. The race begins!

Teams tackle clues collectively, strategizing their approach and navigating the museum's exhibits. Our staff is on hand for assistance and guidance.

As the hunt concludes, teams reconvene at the designated endpoint.

We'll take a few moments to tally scores, announce winners, and facilitate prize distribution. Feel free to ask questions or challenge clues afterward.
