What you'll learn in this food tours class:

Do you know the "Cambridge" side of Harvard Square? Ever wonder what Julia Child thought of her favorite neighborhood? Do you love old, historic cities that have European cobblestone streets? Join us for a delicious culinary adventure through historical Harvard Square. You'll hear interesting stories about the Square, learn fun facts about the restaurants we visit, and sample the best and most interesting food around -- and a lot of it.

Located right outside of Boston on the Red Line MBTA Train Stop, Harvard Square is home to Harvard University but some guests are surprised to uncover its flourishing food scene with some of the best and most unique food in the city.

Harvard Square has deep roots in celebrating people from all walks of life, and that diversity is reflected in its food offerings. Music and live performance is a cornerstone of this cultural district, and we will spend time in the most honored performance halls in the city while learning about greats such as Joan Baez who was discovered here.

Each tour is 2.5 hours and includes 6-7 stops with plenty of food and less than a mile of walking. We can't wait to take you on a unique, foodie adventure!

While we can accommodate gluten-free options on our other tours, on this tour there are two stops where gluten-free substitutions are not available unfortunately.

Please show up to the meeting spot 10-15 minutes early to check in with the guide.

Please note that gratuities are not included in the ticket price. It is customary to leave a tip at the end of the tour. Recommended amount is $10/guest. Thank you so very much!

Meet in front of Harvard Coop PLEASE NOTE: This location is across from Out of Town News and near the Bank of America in Harvard Square. There is a second location of the Coop that's closer to Brattle/Palmer Street and near Beat Brasserie which is not our meeting spot. Please meet under this awning pictured. If you don't see the guide, please call or text the guide (their information will be sent the day before the tour.) MBTA: The easiest thing to do is take the MBTA to Harvard Square Red Line MBTA station and walk to the meeting location. Parking: Our tour runs 75-90 minutes so it is easiest to take the train or Uber/Lyft to Harvard Square. On Sundays parking is free, but there are also meters available throughout the Square and outskirts.
