Starting with preparing the canvas to using a photograph for the painting, to color selection and color mixes I have learned a lot from our instructor. Our instructor was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. She gave us several tips to paint better. I would recommend this course to anyone who is a beginner in oil painting.

I was a little nervous because 1) we were late because of traffic and 2) I’m not an Asian cuisine connoisseur so I was afraid the menu may be too authentic for my taste. We made four basic rolls, starting with the California. There were two raw fish options, plus crab, and all the traditional ingredients like avocado and cucumber. Chef Scott is high energy, fun, and engaging. He was very knowledgable and helpful. We learned so much and are confident enough to start making our own rolls at home.
