The Good Food Project was created because we believe that the best thing people can do to improve their health, their finances, and their overall well being, both for themselves and for those they love, is to learn to cook.
We have become a culture where it is more convenient not to cook, and no longer find the time to sit together, linger and talk over a good meal we’ve prepared.
At The Good Food Project, our work is dedicated to keeping the ritual of breaking bread together alive, by teaching people to slow down and to embrace and enjoy the process of learning to cook real food.
THE GOOD FOOD PROJECT IS…
Dedicated to helping you improve your confidence in the kitchen, in a fun and accessible way.
Our hands-on classes will teach you the cooking skills you need to recreate, fearlessly customize and make each dish your own.
With classes ranging from baking bread to creating handmade pasta & sauces to piping French macarons, you can always find something delicious on the menu.

Chelly was amazing--so easy to chat with and so knowledgeable about baking. And, it is SO much bread. We are looking for more classes to take and anxious for her to be able to teach in-person classes someday. We would highly recommend this course.

The instructor was very nice and obviously knew her craft. Her macarons came out perfectly. And mine were embarrassingly bad, to no fault of the instructor. I’ve come to the conclusion that macarons don’t lend themselves to virtual classes.
I’m a good cook and baker but making macarons have been a challenge and I think next time, I’ll take one of your courses in NYC, where I live, in person.
I would like to thank the instructor for her patience and good nature on the face of my lack of incompetence

I received a partial materials late (didn’t have time to shop). I never heard back from the instructor again and never received a zoom link.
I intend to email and inquire about a refund.
Very disappointed.

This class was great! Chelly did a great job of guiding step by step but also leaving room for questions. She had great ideas for flavor combos and worked with me to sub filling ingredients as needed.

Best cooking/ baking class I've ever taken! Shelly was so knowledgeable and provided so many tips and tricks for making successful yeast breads - we all felt like we were in very good hands, and completely enjoyed the experience. And the bread is delicious! The timing of the class was perfect. I definitely want to take more classes at The Good Food Project. A-plus all around.

I had a fantastic time learning how to make Macarons. The teacher was fabulous.. The only thing that I think could be improved, they need a mixer for each student and definitely two ovens. Everyone at the class made 2 batches of Macarons. She was very detailed in her directions and always was there to help with any questions.. I would recommend this class to everyone..
