Concealed Carry Permit - North & South Carolina

Whether you are interested in obtaining general firearm safety or your certificate to apply for a permit to carry concealed, you will benefit from this class. Firearm safety is for everyone. Ask yourself the following questions: Is your home free of firearms? Would you know what to do if you found a gun in a public setting? Do you know the laws regarding the responsibilities of carrying concealed and what your rights are? Would you know what to do during an active shooter situation? If you answered “no” to any of these questions, this class is for you. Join us while we take an in depth, tailored approach to educating gun safety and the responsibilities assumed with carrying concealed.

Provider and Other Important Information
The instructor for this course will be provided by The Range at Ballantyne. North and South Carolina requires, as part of the certification process, a shooting qualification portion. In order to complete both parts of qualifying, 8 hours in the classroom and time on the range, you will be required to attend both the classroom portion AND a visit to The Range at Ballantyne. The classroom certificate and the shooting qualification must be completed within 30 days of each other. If they are not, then the classroom portion must be redone at an additional cost. For qualifying, you will need to rent from the range or provide your own gun, ammo, and hearing/eye protection. This will be covered in greater detail during the class. There will be several options for scheduling a visit to The Range at Ballantyne for qualifying the shooting portion.

Lunch
Lunch will be held onsite in the classroom. For your convenience, you may purchase a lunch ticket for $15 (includes lunch and beverage). You are not requried to purchase a lunch ticket and are absolutely welcome to pack your own lunch. Bottles of water and snacks will be available for sale throughout the day.
