The Experience:
Each Composition in the Field class begins with an instructional session led by one of our experienced photographers. Following the presentation, you and fellow participants explore one of numerous photogenic locations throughout the Digital Photo Academy's network spanning over 20 cities. These venues include street scenes, architectural interiors, farmers' markets, zoo settings, and landscape environments. Class photos represent a diverse collection of student and instructor work from multiple cities across the United States and Canada.
The three-hour session combines education, exploration, and practice. You will learn strategic shooting approaches, capture compelling images of your chosen venue, and develop foundational skills to enhance your photography across various life situations, whether traveling or documenting personal events.
Note: Classes may be cancelled due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances. We will coordinate rescheduling options. A $25 transfer fee applies if cancellation is requested without three days' notice prior to the scheduled class date.
