What you'll learn in this beginner drawing class:
This beginner-friendly class is perfect for those who have never picked up a pencil before. If you've ever said to yourself "I can't draw" or "I wish I could draw", this class is for you!
We've isolated the most important drawing topics and condensed the information so you can understand what drawing is about in an hour.
This rich and concise class gives you a brief overview of drawing, all while giving you the opportunity to apply the techniques in a hands-on drawing exercise. The instructor will lead you step-by-step through a demonstration.
Learn about the basics of:
- Silhouette
- The expression of 3-D
- Tonal values (light and shadows)
- Shading
- Importance of background
- Shadows
Supplies needed:
- Two 4B pencils
- Art gum eraser
- Pencil sharpener
- Sketch pad 9x12 or bigger (white paper, not newsprint)

Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 2 business days in advance of the class will be honored with a refund less 5% cancellation fee.
- Students who cancel less than 2 business days prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
