Brenna Joy & Chad Wrye

Teaches at Swing Dance Nashville

Brenna Joy has been dancing Lindy Hop in Nashville for 6 years and teaching for 2 of those years. Before she found a love for Lindy Hop she had a background in Theatre, Ballet, Tap, and Hip-hop. In the classroom Brenna makes the fundamentals easy to understand and keeps a positive learning environment for all.

Chad Wrye has been a part of the Nashville swing dance community for more than 10 years. During this time, he has participated in workshops and dance events all over the country. While his passions are Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Blues, he also enjoys Balboa and other vintage-era swing dances.

In his classes, Chad likes to break down the fundamental elements of swing dancing. His goal is to make the social dance experience more fun and comfortable for both partners. Focusing on the building blocks allows his students express their own style and creativity through their dancing.

Although Chad enjoys teaching and performing, his true love is social dancing. You’ll always find him on the dance floor willing to dance with anyone.
