What you'll learn in this kids drawing class:

This exciting class will provide your teen with the fundamental drawing and cartooning skills. They will learn the basics in drawing, tell their own stories, while developing a craft through a wide variety of exercises.

Preteens and teens with a penchant for multiple media will thrive in this exciting art class, where students are guided through creative visual art exercises and projects allowing them to explore their own creative self-expression. This class is ideal for teens who have never taken an art class and want a broad introduction to the various visual art formats.

Price includes all art supplies.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Course Cancellation:

Although course cancellation at Creatively Wild Art Studio is quite rare, Creatively Wild Art Studio reserves the right to cancel classes or change instructor assignments and makes every effort to notify students in advance. If enrollment goals are not met,a course may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the first scheduled class. In the event of cancellation, a full refund is granted. On occasion, a course start-date will be pushed back if enrollment goals are not met. In this instance, you will receive a credit for the price of the class that did not take place. In the event of severe weather conditions, Creatively Wild Art Studio will follow the NYC public school closing, and make-up classes will be at the discretion of the Director.  

Refund Policy:

Class tuition is neither non-refundable nor transferable. No refunds will be issued after registration and payment. In case of a Medically Certified illness, a credit will be issued after receipt of your physician’s documentation. The value of the credit will be for the balance of the remaining class sessions with an additional deduction of a $75 registration fee. Credit may be used towards any offerings at Creatively Wild Art Studio for up to 12 months. If after your first class you are dissatisfied with the quality of your course, a written note must be submitted within 3 business days of your first class. After receiving your note, refund of class tuition will be reviewed by our staff. If a refund is granted, processing of refunds requires 8-10 weeks.

Alison is a diversified visual artist who creates, promotes, and teaches fine art. From downtown Manhattan to DUMBO, Brooklyn, she is currently involved in painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, fashion, and curating with some of the most exciting artists in New York City. Alison's main focus in her own work is illustration, as well as multimedia painting and sculpture. Alison is also a curator, producer, and photographer for ART ATTACK!, a pop-up mobile art gallery that happens all over NYC… which exhibits art in a moving truck. Alison received her bachelor's degree in Studio Art from The University of Vermont, she has been teaching art to children for almost 10 years. She gained experience in after school programs, summer camps, and birthday parties, teaching art, science, and english. One of her most rewarding teaching positions was in an integrated english program in Spain, teaching art and science classes at an elementary level. Alison continues to stay involved in the community, volunteering in the 'kids tent' during the Dumbo Arts Festival in 2011.
