Your host, Marla Bosworth, is a certified perfumer and aromatherapist with 25 years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for natural fragrance. Her depth of knowledge and warmth as an educator make her the ideal guide for a workshop where creativity, sensory exploration, and true craftsmanship come together in one room.
During the session, each participant will can explore various fragrance notes, accords, and ingredient families to build their own bespoke scent. You will learn about scent classification, the three-tier structure of fragrance composition (top notes, heart notes, and base notes), and how to layer aromas to create depth, complexity, and lasting power. Marla will be at your side to help you experiment with different combinations, offer guidance on balance, and refine your choices until you have something that feels genuinely, unmistakably yours.
Every creative decision belongs to you. The intensity of your fragrance, its complexity, its character, its emotional resonance: all of it flows from your own instincts and preferences.
