Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced certification course emphasizing team coordination, professional communication, systems of care delivery, and critical post-cardiac-arrest management protocols. The curriculum covers sophisticated airway management and associated pharmacological interventions. Instruction employs a hybrid learning model combining large group instruction with focused small group sessions and case-based scenario stations designed to encourage active engagement.
- Learning stations provide hands-on practice of critical skills using realistic simulated clinical scenarios that foster engaged participation
- Hands-on practical training reinforces skills, competency, and clinical readiness

Required Materials:
According to American Heart Association requirements, you must possess the "Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Manual" for course attendance.
School Notes: All of the courses that we have students sign up for through CourseHorse are skills sessions. Skills sessions require that the student complete an online testing portion through the American Heart Association, that online testing portion is a separate charge from our class fee for facilitating the skills session in the class room.
We offer full provider classes that are all done in class without the need to complete an online test before the class starts.
