Spanish Beginning 1

Students will be introduced to vowels and consonant pronunciation exercises, as well as useful phrases and ten vocabulary sets will be covered. With this vocabulary and the guidance of your instructor, you will be able to learn the basic grammatical structure of the language. This includes the proper use of articles, nouns and adjectives in accordance with their gender and number, as well as the use of the verb “to be” in present tense. Songs, videos, fun games, and basic conversational exercises will be performed during the class.

The reasons for learning Spanish are endless… traveling abroad, increasing work opportunities, passing an exam, communicating in an increasingly bilingual society, or gaining cultural insight......or maybe you want to learn Spanish just so you can fully understand what's being expressed during your favorite telenovela! Whatever the case may be, we at Journey Language Center have the program that is best suited to your specific needs.

Years ago, the Minaya brothers created the Spanish Easy and Fun program. This program uses an interactive conversational approach, as an alternative to dry classroom, grammar-based Spanish. We guarantee that the Spanish Easy and Fun program has a proven track record of success! And although we strive to continuously improve our program and methods, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our original mission: providing interactive lessons that make learning Spanish easy and fun.

Our Spanish Group classes often include fun non-traditional lessons 

• Food Demonstrations and Food Prep - In these lessons you will learn about traditional South American cuisine, culture, and food vocabulary. 
• Music - Listen to cultural songs, learn the lyrics, and sing along if you wish.
