Social media platforms are mere pastimes for a new generation of information consumers, but for the YouTube Star, communication platforms are powerful tools that can turn surfers into entrepreneurs and celebrities! In this SSA exclusive one-week summer camp, students will create their own YouTube channel and use Adobe Premiere Pro to learn the critical video editing skills necessary for uploading videos that get noticed. Don’t just be a social media user, become an online star, and show your ideas to the world.
Drop-off/Pick-up instructions as well as all other camp details will be sent to you during the week prior to the start of camp. We'll look forward to seeing you this summer. * If your camper is enrolled in both AM & PM camps this week, they may bring a bag lunch and join us during the lunch hour.
General Student Skills Requirements
• Ability to access an Internet browser and navigate the web
• Ability to navigate between multiple windows during class
• Ability to cut & paste using Ctrl X, C and V (windows), or Command X, C and V (mac).
Students may opt to bring their own laptop computer; however, the school does provide computers for each student.
Cancellations that qualify for a refund must be made by contacting CourseHorse.
No refunds will be issued for early withdrawal or dismissal from courses, workshops or camps due to absences, or dismissals due to behavioral issues.
The school reserves the right to cancel a course. If a course is cancelled, you understand that you may enroll your child or yourself in another course. If none are available for the same dates, a refund will be issued for all monies paid for the cancelled course. Alternatively, the tuition paid for the cancelled course can be applied to a credit that can be used during that same session or future sessions as space permits.
