Cutting on grain, importance of pressing, and following a sewing sequence are covered in depth. Each session is project oriented and each student will leave class with finished wearable projects. Introduce your child to the creative art of sewing. Your child will learn to sew by hand and on the machine and be creating accessories and simple clothes before you know it! All students work at their own pace and once they have completed their first 2 projects, have the freedom to choose their projects thereafter. Class size limited to 4 per adult. Student is responsible for fabric, thread, notions, and patterns for projects.

Morrison was great. She emailed me after I enrolled to ask if I had intended to take her class in seam treatments and I told her I had not because I am a very beginner sewer. However, she provided me with an individual lesson and focused on what types of activities I like to do. I will be enrolling in her longer course on how to sew using my sewing machine and am so glad that I decided to finally get some formal lessons. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to do that! -

Mrs. Morrison was great! I took this course with my boyfriend and we both enjoyed the class and learned a lot. She showed us all the basics of sewing and I was able to ask her all the questions I had. She was also very personable and patient.
