Explore Greenwich Village with a knowledgeable guide and six substantial food stops. Taste Italian, Middle Eastern, Mexican, Jewish and American foods while learning neighborhood history.
This is far more than a food tour. You will walk through Washington Square Park, past Taylor Swift's former apartment, and by the legendary Stonewall Inn, with your guide providing fascinating historical context at every stop.

Tour Itinerary
Bagel Bob's
- The tour launches at Bagel Bob's, a cherished Greenwich Village institution. You will start with a hand-rolled Jewish sesame bagel topped with freshly whipped cream cheese, one of the simplest and most satisfying ways to begin a food tour in New York City.
The House of Death
- A brief detour into the eerie: "The House of Death" is one of the most notoriously haunted addresses in Manhattan, with a history that includes famous residents like Mark Twain and an impressive number of documented ghost sightings.
Washington Square Park
- A walk through Washington Square Park is one of the great New York City experiences. You will explore the park's striking arch and fountain, and your guide will share the park's surprising history, which began as a public burial ground before becoming one of the city's most beloved gathering spaces.
Mamoun's Falafel
- A stroll down MacDougal Street leads to Mamoun's Falafel, the oldest Middle Eastern restaurant in New York City. The falafel here, hot, crispy, and packed with flavor, is widely considered among the very best in the city.
Comedy Cellar
- You will pass the iconic Comedy Cellar, the storied underground comedy club where some of the greatest stand-up comedians of the modern era, including Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and Jerry Seinfeld, have performed throughout their careers.
Faicco's Italian Specialties
- Next stop is Faicco's Italian Specialties, where you will choose between a classic arancini rice ball or crispy fried cheese ravioli, two deeply satisfying expressions of Italian-American cooking. (Not available on Monday or Sunday afternoon tours.)
Taylor Swift's Apartment
- For every "Swiftie" in the group, the tour includes a visit to 23 Cornelia Street, where the singer lived during her New York City years beginning in 2016 and which she later immortalized in song.
Bleecker Street Pizza
- No Greenwich Village food tour is complete without a stop at Bleecker Street Pizza, voted the number one pizza in New York City for three consecutive years. Their slices represent everything great about New York-style pizza.
Friends Apartment Building

The Stonewall Inn

The Little Taco House
- This tiny, no-frills spot serves big, authentic flavors, handmade-to-order tacos that are worlds away from chain Mexican food and worth every step of the walk to get here.
Carrie Bradshaw's Apartment
- A quick visit to the exterior of the apartment made iconic in the television series Sex and the City, a rite of passage for any fan of the show.
Molly's Cupcakes
- The tour concludes at Molly's Cupcakes, consistently ranked among the top ten cupcake destinations in the country. It is the perfect sweet ending to an already delicious afternoon.
