We went to this clay throwing event for our monthly company social and it was absolutely wonderful. Patrick the instructor pitched the course at the perfect level for beginners, enough help to get us started but didn't hold our hand the whole way. The team loved it and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for something fun to do!

Our group learned, bonded, laughed a bunch and created some really great stuff. Def will come back!

A big thank you to Bernard, Tom, Franny, and the fourth team member (whose name escapes me at the moment!) for facilitating such a fun and creative Paint & Pour event. Your energy, guidance, and patience made the experience enjoyable for everyone. The team had a fantastic time bonding, laughing, and exploring their artistic sides.
We truly appreciate all the effort you put into making the event a success—thank you again!

I took the class with three others, so not a large class which made it easier to do the build in a relaxed fashion. Will, the instructor, was great at walking us through the build and providing information about the various tools, and also how additional safety guards had been installed to make it safer for those new at woodworking. We got to watch a bit of Japanese woodworking and share a beer as well!
-
Really cool hobby class. Great intro into woodworking basics. We learned how to do a stool and used a miter saw and a router in class, and put together a table using joinery (I think that's the proper term). Instructor was awesome - very personable and even stayed late when we needed more time. Close to the subway, really neat little space and it was a great way to spend a Friday night.
-
Had a great time! The instructor was enthusiastic, funny and helpful. The tables came out looking great, and i feel a world more knowledgeable and confident with the tools and techniques we covered during the class.

I learned this beautiful process of making stained glass art. I was vacationing from Maryland for my 10th wedding anniversary and decided to take this course. I am an artist but I had never done stained glass. It was well worth the money and I will be taking courses in my area. Thanks Jess and Mary!

I loved the class! It was an amazing environment for learning. The instructor was guided you while providing the space necessary to learn a new skill. I walked away with a side table I'm super proud of!
-
The instructors did a really good job at fitting necessary safety information and skills within a few hours. They were both really accommodating and knowledgeable.

This was my first time setting up a recreational event for our team, and let me tell you, CourseHorse made it sooo easy! From the very beginning of inquiries, to the multitude of questions and uncertainties on my end, they were so kind, responsive and accommodating no matter what situations arose. I cannot recommend them enough for helping coordinate our group event and will definitely use them again!
As for the event, our team had an absolute blast! Such a unique experience and bonding time outside of the office walls. The instructor was easy going and helpful, providing the perfect amount of guidance and freedom to thoroughly enjoy the event. I will definitely be using them again in the future! Very satisfied group of customers!

Our team had an amazing time!! Thank you so much!!

Everyone had a great time, thank you so much!

The instructor David Sokoler was fantastic. He was funny and personable. He was also knowledgeable and made himself available to us as a resource for any questions we had about woodworking in general or our personal projects. The class was cute and served as a great introduction to power tools and was accessible even without prior experience.
-
The event went very well, Andrew was a lovely host and out whole team had a great time.
-
Will, the instructor for my class was a great teacher. He was very informative, friendly and held an organized and fun class for beginners. He is very knowledgeable on tools, safety and wood finishes and shared a lot of information with us. Overall it was a fun experience and I highly recommend the class to anyone interested.
-
Loved this class! Location was super cool, teacher was superb, and everyone’s art came out really well for a four hour lesson. Definitely recommend!
-
Good class. Lots of fun. The instructors were great. Would definitely take another class.
-
Fantastic instructor who was very personable and knowledgeable. Good equipment. Good attention to safety. Good material. Good atmosphere. No complaints!
-
I really enjoyed my time at the craftsmen studio. The instructor Will did such a great job in making me feel comfortable while making a side table. Will did a great job in showing me the safety features of the equipment that was used to make the side table. Will has gained my respect because he is such a great teacher. He was very conversational & knowledgeable about wood working. Fantastic teacher & class

Class was awesome and I'll be checking out some of the other ones at this location!
-
my friend and i took the class with chris jeffries and it was so much fun. it was very exciting to walk out with a table that we each made. i have wanted to try woodworking for a long time and it did not disappoint. can't wait to build something else.

I enjoyed the stain glass work of art class. The amount of people in the class made me feel welcome. There were four other people in the class. So I received good one on one help. The teacher was kind & patient with me. Working with my hands to bring a work of art to life was great. I would take this class again. The studio was neat, clean, & arranged well. Job well done Craftsman.

This was such a fun and educational course. The instructor and other staff members were so nice too and made the entire experience wonderful.
-
Sacha was a great teacher and the class was quite fun! Really great to walk away with a piece of beautiful art.
-
The instructors, Michelle and Mossimo, were great—friendly, answered questions, and helpful.
Fun class although the table was so small. Could it have been a little bigger? Like 12 by 12? And I understand it’s a beginners course and I don’t know much about woodworking, but I was surprised that our table was held together by glue, not nails…. Are there multi week courses so we can learn more advanced information & make other items?
-
Such a great experience. The staff was incredible, friendly and helpful. Was very informative without being too hands-on. Would definitely recommend!
-
It was unbelievable, i love it, wish there was a part 2
-
We enjoyed the class and the teachers very much. Highly recommend!
-
It was a great class in a sense that it was quite easy. The studio had prepared the design of the stool we were building as well as the sequence of construction with every tool having a custom jig that allowed for perfect cuts and tight fits. It ended up just being three students including myself which meant we could ask many questions without holding up the class.
-
This class was delightful! The instructors were delightful, the other participants were delightful, and the project was delightful. I am certainly going to return in the future.
-
Great intro class! I'm a Graphic Designer and try to take a lot of different 'hands-on' classes to learn new hobbies and get away from the computer screen. Kelsie was a great instructor, taught us a ton in the amount of time we had, and answered all the questions I threw at her (which was probably a lot). I had such a great experience that I ended up buying my own equipment to continue practicing at home. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in learning the process of Stained Glass and glass as a medium.
-
I took this class with my cousin and it was really fun, the studio had a chill vibe. The class was small enough that you can freely talk to the instructor. We actually made a whole piece of art which was cool and all the equipment and all the necessary tools were provided. We had a super chill instructor who was helpful and also not super strict about little things so we had a certain amount of artistic and technical leeway. I'm actually planning on going back for some other classes at the studio because I really liked the vibe and the people.
-
The make a side table class was amazing with two truly fun, patient instructors that'd help you with your table and any problems you came across. You get to sand its edges how you want, though you won't paint it after it's made. It was neat to see what people made and they offered beer after the class. It is a lot of work in those 4 hours: we used 3 different types of (automatic) saws so it gave you a good taste of what a multi-week woodworking class would be like. Great place and can't wait to go back for more classes.
-
This was an awesome class. It's amazing what I learned to do in four hours. Take 3 pieces of wood and transform them into a table, a very nice, sturdy, not wobbly table.
The instructor was very experienced and answered all questions and helped us out whenever need- all with a ton of patience, encouragement , and enthusiasm.
I look forward to taking another course at Craftman Avenue. The small class size was great the environment was comfy, had all the tools needed- measuring tools, clamps, etc.. it's a wonderful space, wonderful people. Well worth it in every respect

The stained glass workshop for beginners was EXCELLENT!. The hands on learning experience revealed the artistry, creativity, and incredible skill associated with this art form. Kelsie was a superb teacher knowing when to pull the group together for a demonstration lesson, when to leave the group time for independent work, and when to offer her guidance in a time of need/advice. Her pleasant, encouraging, and kind demeanor is an essential characteristic for others to feel welcomed and vulnerable in a new learning experience. Her interactions were truly genuine.

Super fun with a gorgeous result!
-
Wonderful class! Booked this as a birthday gift for my partner and we both had a great time! Highly recommend to anyone interested in intro woodworking class. Looking forward to taking more classes with Craftsman Avenue!!
-
This was a fantastic class that did a great job breaking the stained glass process into very manageable steps. The teacher was very approachable, and did a great job helping with our initial designs. I was pretty intimidated going into it, but by the end, I wished I had gone with a more complicated design because it was much easier than I thought. I went with my wife and parents and we had a great time, walking away with finished pieces to be proud of.
-
very pleased with the class and instruction

The woodworking class was fantastic, Jeff and Moss were great and helped ensure the projects came out well and we understood what we were doing. It was a great 5th year anniversary project for us!
