How it Works
Description
Learn all the techniques you need to make the thick and thin lines that create the beautiful letter forms of calligraphy with a brush pen or even a simple Crayola marker.
Modern calligraphy is a more free-form style of writing that maintains the elegance of traditional calligraphy while allowing for more self-expression.
No prior experience is required! The skills you'll learn can be applied to cards, invitations, signs, or just to give your penmanship a little pizzazz.
In this workshop, your group will learn:
- Lettering tools and how to use them
- 8 basic strokes of modern brush lettering
- How to compose both upper case and lower case letters
- How to connect letters to form words and phrases
- Tips and tricks for perfecting your lettering practice
- Introduction to bouncing and flourishes
What's Included:
- Two hours of calligraphy instruction by a professional artist and calligraphy expert in the room with you!
- Access to our event fulfillment team
- After you book the event, we will send you a confirmation email and all the details needed for the event
- We will then ship the Calligraphy Set to your office/location
- Our event fulfillment team will be able to answer any questions you have before, during, or after the event
- All materials shipped to your office/location, including:

General Notes
- After you book the event, we will send you a confirmation email and details for the event.
- For events with materials, we will then collect the addresses of each of the participants and ensure every individual is sent a kit.
- Our event fulfillment team will be able to answer any questions you have before, during, or after the event.
- You can customize your event for a $300 customization fee. Customizations include things like combining different games, requesting specific questions or a themed game, or adding something to an event with materials included. Using a different platform that is not Zoom is not a customization.
- Get a Demo: Not convinced? Book a 20-minute demo of this event for $25 before committing to it for your group. Your payment will apply towards your final purchase.
Supported Platforms for Virtual Events: Zoom is our recommended platform, but we can accommodate Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx if the client provides the meeting details.

Rescheduled events must occur within 1 year of the original event. There are no cancellations for events with materials once materials have been shipped.
