Description
Compete in individual and team LEGO® building challenges.
Each participant receives a LEGO kit for holiday-themed building prompts.
Teams tell holiday stories through their creations, with winners selected by participant vote.
Explore different creative approaches while working with the same bricks.
Example Building Prompts:
- Build the tallest stable structure without it falling
- Create a form of transportation using LEGO bricks
- Build something that represents your favorite free-time hobby or activity
Example Challenges:
- Build an Ornament: Each participant builds their own unique holiday ornament using LEGO pieces.
- Clones Challenge: Have each participant on your team build exactly the same structure using at least 50 blocks and incorporating 5 different colors. Winning teams are judged on accuracy (how similar the structures are) and quality (how ambitious and creative the designs are).
- North Pole Tower Challenge: Teams race to build the highest tower they can construct in under 10 minutes using available LEGO bricks.
- Holiday Self-portraits: Create your own likeness using LEGO bricks and pieces.
What Your Group Will Do:
- Our energetic facilitator welcomes the group, explains the rules clearly, and kicks off the event with high energy and enthusiasm.
- A variety of building challenges are presented to participants throughout the event (some require team collaboration, others are individual efforts).
- Approximately half the time is spent in mini-team competition, and the other half together as a whole group for full-group challenges.
