Mosaic Workshop - Mini Moon Lamp (Houston)

Spend a couple of hours making something you’ll keep for years. You’ll plan your pattern and colors on paper, glue hand-cut Turkish glass onto a glass globe one piece at a time, then fill the gaps with beads. No experience needed — our instructors guide every step.

Your lamp comes home with you the same day along with a grouting kit. It dries overnight, then you grout it yourself and fit it into its frame with the LED bulb.

What to Expect:

1 Plan your design

• Work on the design paper: pick two or three main patterns, add a few smaller ones, and choose your colors from the 12-color palette.

2 Place the glass

• Glue the hand-cut Turkish glass onto the globe one pattern at a time, starting at each pattern’s center and working outward.

3 Fill the gaps

• Press glass beads — or more tiles, whichever you prefer — into the spaces between your patterns until the globe is fully covered.

4 Take it home to dry

• Your lamp leaves with you at the end of the session. It sits undisturbed for 12–24 hours while the glue fully cures.

5 Grout it yourself

• Mix the grout from your take-home kit, work it into every gap and wipe it back with the sponge. About 20 minutes.

6 Light it up

• Once the grout has cured, sit the globe in its frame, fit the LED bulb and switch it on.
