This hand building ceramics workshop will be a playful low stakes learning environment grounded in exploration and letting go of expectations. Participants will work with clay and are welcome to make anything they’d like such as sculptural, abstract forms and functional forms such as vases, planters, jewelry dishes, the list goes on. Participants will learn how to make a pinch pot and coil build, two fundamental techniques to hand building.

No experience is necessary, this workshop is suited for those who are curious about working with their hands and decompressing from cognitive work. At the end of this workshop participants will choose what color they would like their pieces to be glazed in. All pieces that are glazed will be microwave and dishwasher safe. All pieces will be fired and ready for pick within 3-5 weeks.
