How it Works
Description
Work with your team to escape the uncanny Upside Down, or be forever trapped.
It's 1983. You're playing Dungeons and Dragons with your friends in the basement, when all of a sudden, your friend rolls a natural 1.
"The Demogorgon sniffs the air and looks straight at your party. You are caught."
The session ends and you leave and head back home, but on the way back home, you see this swirling essence at the end of the road. As you approach it, you feel your entire body being pulled into it.
Everything grows cold. Everything darkens. Around you are the same buildings as always, but in the distance, you see sprawling mountains, floating rocks, and these massive entities that can only be described as cosmic horrors.
Welcome to the Upside Down dimension. I hope you can return safely.
What your group will do:
- Our facilitator will welcome the group, go over the rules of the game, and start the event with high energy
- Your group will be split up into mini teams (4-6 people) and have one hour to work together to escape the room
- Groups will be presented with clues, puzzles, and activities in the form of character descriptions, virtual maps, audio clips, and video clips and will play mini-games to uncover additional clues that will help you to reach your goal
- The majority of the time will be spent in mini-teams but you will still have the opportunity to interact with the whole group throughout the event

Supported Platforms: Zoom is our recommended platform, but we can accommodate Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx if the client provides the meeting details
Pricing
- $400 for up to 15 people
- $15 per person thereafter
- We will collect the minimum at checkout as a deposit and then we'll finalize your payment when you've finalized your headcount after your event

I recently booked an escape room experience for our team for a way to do some team bonding (in a very fun, very low stakes way...despite everyone's competitive-ness...!). It was so fun--the escape room itself was tricky but doable in small groups, and it also made us feel like we were right back in middle school. Highly recommend to any team, virtual or in-person! (We were actually in person but all had our computers with us and split up into two rooms, so it worked really well).

The Sunrun People Acquisition team had an incredible time with Ashlynn - she brought such great energy to our team! The '90s escape room was extremely fun and really brought us back to our favorite parts of the '90s! The only feedback we'd like to provide is at the beginning of our call, we had some issues going into our break-out rooms and team members paying close attention to detail on instructions. Maybe setting the precedent to really pay attention, write down your breakout room #, etc. would be extremely helpful just to pull it all together and get everyone's undivided attention. Other than that, INCREDIBLE!
