Description

The mystery: In an enchanted winter kingdom, the Gum Drop King guards the winter solstice. As the nights grow darker, your team must solve the mystery and bring back the light so the party can begin.

What your group will do:

  • Your host kicks off the event with a high-energy welcome and a full rundown of the rules.
  • Teams receive clues and puzzles in the form of character profiles, virtual maps, audio clips, and video segments, then play mini-games to unlock additional information.
  • Most of the event is spent in breakout mini-teams, with several opportunities for the full group to come together and share progress.

    We chose the "Whodunit" Virtual Escape Room from Coursehorse as our holiday party. Almost the whole team is remote, so we had to find something virtual and engaging. The Engagement Committee wanted to participate too, so we chose to have someone else host something. Ashlynn Rodriguez was fun, engaging, and knew how to "play" to our group dynamics. There was enough challenge that it wasn't super easy but also very fun. Maybe I'm biased since our team escaped, but of the two virtual escape rooms, this one was far more fun. Great fun was had by all. Thank you!
