What you'll learn in this painting class:

Master vibrant colors, vivid brushstrokes, and immersive composition you adore in the works of impressionist artists. Besides the practical studies, learn about the history of the most beloved art movement, and the art styles that grew out of it.

Detailed Schedule:

Day 1:
Intro on the history of the style. Starting working on the master copy of one of the Impressionist artists.

Day 2:
Finishing the master copy of one of the Impressionist artists.

Day 3: Lecture on impressionist composition. Starting working on the final piece. Sketching and compositional thumbnails. Choosing a color palette.

Day 4:
Lecture on Fauvism. Continuing working on a final piece. Finalizing drawing, applying the first layer of color.

Day 5:
Lecture on post-impressionism and Bay Area Art Movement. Continuing working on the final project.

Day 6:
Finishing the creative project in selected impressionist or post-impressionist style.

Refund Policy

We do not provide refunds for ongoing classes tuition, courses or camps payments.

However, full credit towards future booking or transfer to another camp/course will be offered for any cancellations made up to 2 business days before the camp or course starts.
Ongoing classes can be canceled with a 31 business days prior notice.

You can make up a missed class on another day when we offer the same age/skill group class. The make-up class should be arranged in advance, no drop-ins. Limit 2 make-up classes per month. Make-up classes are subject to the availability of space in a similar class. We reserve the right not to provide make-up classes or terminate the class enrollment for repeating truancy.
