What you'll learn in this acting class:

Interested in exploring the difference in stage and screen? Join us for our introductory film class where actors will be immersed in the study of on-screen acting.

The class series begins with an audition taping of age-appropriate cold reads. As the class progresses, students will learn how to act for the camera by performing monologues and scenes in front of the camera and watching playback.

Students are also introduced to film terms and how a professional set works. The class culminates in another professional taping of the worked audition material that could be used for a professional audition.
