Students are asked to bring an article of clothing they would like to personalize, and they leave the class with a garment beautifully decorated with a word or phrase rendered in their own handwriting. You will learn proper hand embroidery technique, essential tools and materials for getting started on your own, and a couple of clean bordering stitches that are ideal for lettering and decorative work. It is a soothing, rewarding, and genuinely useful craft skill to take home.
