3:10 - 3:35 pm How to Get Started with ART
Beginning with expressive artistic exercises, learn and practice the basic techniques such as mark-making, composition, and why there is no such thing as "mistakes" in art. Receive step-by-step instructions as you experiment with art supplies.
3:35 - 3:50 pm Find The Shape: The Art of Seeing
When creating artwork, you learn how to see. Learn artistic hacks, tips, and tools to make creating artwork easy! We'll begin by creating basic shapes while also creating the first layers of our artworks.
3:50 - 4:05 pm Adding Details
How do you make your art "pop"? Learn and practice techniques in creating more detail and personalized expression. Bring your personal style into your art and learn how to infuse your art with your unique personality. Discover why there is no "right and wrong" in the creative process.
4:05 pm - 4:25 pm Bringing It Together
Combining all of the techniques we have learned, continue to receive easy-to-follow instruction on how to bring your artwork to the next level while creating art to feel proud of.
4:25 - 4:30 pm Group Art Exhibit
In our art exhibit, all are invited to show off their finished drawing while enjoying how unique each and every piece of artwork is. This is what TEAM is all about!
OPTIONAL (10 minutes) Coming Back Together
End your event by bringing your team together in an impactful, connected conversation. Share your finished artwork, provide feedback about the uniqueness of each drawing, and explore questions, such as:
- How would you describe your creative experience in three words?
- What is one major takeaway and something you learned that surprised you?
