This was super valuable and something I had really been yearning for. Understanding personality types and way of motivating (especially those who I am pretty different from) was my biggest takeaway.

Really relevant to day-to-day work and personal life. Learned a lot of tips I will definitely use. Sean made a potentially boring topic really interesting. I was engaged the whole day!

Great practical experience. The ability to practice and apply learnings in real time made it a most enriching experience- and will help me better retain what I learned.

Fantastic! Could have spent a week on this, engaging, informative, but most importantly thought-provoking. I was humbled to say the least.

Eye opening. The program really leads to results with concrete takeaways that can be applied right away. I did not believe training on soft skills. This program changes it!!

• Pro-Coders to Build Apps

So far in my session with Siliconvalley4U, it has been a wonderful experience. At first, I started off with absolutely no experience in coding. With an amazing instructor, I was able to understand the functions of certain lines of code to create projects that I am very proud of. When I had doubts or needed help, my instructor was able to correct my mistakes and tell me what happened in a friendly way. I would recommend this class to anyone that wants to learn more about programming.

• Bootcamp Prep: 8 Weeks, Part-time

I have been on the fence for a long time about whether to enroll in a coding bootcamp or not. FSC was the right choice for introducing me to coding in a guided and structured environment with real time feedback. I learned a good amount of beginner and intermediate JS, and started to better understand how to think like a programmer and understand what that discipline really entails on a day to day basis. Lastly, they are partnered with a number of prestigious immersive bootcamps, so if coding is for you, you can apply most of your tuition for FSC to a top tier coding bootcamp. If coding isn't for you, you can figure that out in a relatively short amount of time and for a minimal financial investment. Great intro course with friendly, knowledgeable instructors. Highly recommend.

• Bootcamp Prep: Introduction to Coding in JavaScript

As a Sales Rep in the Greater Boston Area, I’ve had a fair share of hands on experience with technical products and demonstrations in my field. So when it came time to make a switch to a more technical role, theres only so much you can teach yourself about coding from 101 websites or YouTube. Sure there are outstanding bootcamps in the area, but I wasn’t sure if that was something I was ready to invest full time or serioius money in. When I came across First Step Coding, their curriculum checked most if not all of the boxes on the job requirements I was interested in, so it was a no-brainer! Their instructors are experts in the vast amount of material covered in the course, and made themselves available after hours for questions with any assignments or topics. I’m confident having completed the course that it gave me the competitive edge adequate enough to establish myself as a technical sales rep and land a job in that field.
