How it Works
Description
Unleash your inner ninja turtle at this handmade pizza party!
In this class you’ll learn how to make pizza from scratch, from choosing the best flours to selecting the perfect topping combinations to mastering the secrets to a crisp, bubbly crust. You’ll also learn a bit of pizza history, including its early beginnings, regional pizza variations in Italy and some other tidbits. Then we eat!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Other Notes:
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
- Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
- This event is semi-private. It takes place in a hotel or restaurant, your group is exclusively seated but there may be other patrons around in the venue.
Event Itinerary:
- Guests will arrive and be greeted by the chef/instructor, and may order any drinks they’d like to have during the class (purchased separately).
- The chef/instructor will introduce themselves and give some background information on what will be cooked or prepared.
- You’ll then split into groups of 2-4 and each group will be given step by step instructions by the chef/instructor
- You’ll get to enjoy your creations and are welcome to hang out at the venue and continue to order drinks or food!
What You Will Make / Go Home With
- Italy's well known pizzas, Pizza Margherita. It is a typical Neapolitan pizza, made with tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh basil, salt and extra-virgin olive oil.
General Notes
- After you book the event, we will send you a confirmation email and details for the event.
- For events with materials, we will then collect the addresses of each of the participants and ensure every individual is sent a kit.
- Our event fulfillment team will be able to answer any questions you have before, during, or after the event.
- You can customize your event for a $300 customization fee. Customizations include things like combining different games, requesting specific questions or a themed game, or adding something to an event with materials included. Using a different platform that is not Zoom is not a customization.
- Get a Demo: Not convinced? Book a 20-minute demo of this event for $25 before committing to it for your group. Your payment will apply towards your final purchase.
Supported Platforms for Virtual Events: Zoom is our recommended platform, but we can accommodate Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx if the client provides the meeting details.
Pricing
- $1,090 for up to 10 people
- $109 per person thereafter
- If you don't know your group size, select the minimum group size to pay the minimum deposit and secure your date. We'll finalize your payment when you've finalized your headcount.
