This is the first online cooking course I have taken. I have taken two others in person but decided to try online since it fits nicely in my schedule and I don't have to travel anywhere. The chef was in contact with me weeks before the event and ensured I had a list of all of the ingredients along with the equipment I would need. The online class really went smoothly and I learned how to make homemade ice cream. The chef I had used multiple cameras so she could get different angles depending on what we were making which really was helpful. She answered questions during the making of the ice cream and it felt as though she was in the same room with you. The chef provided me with her information in case I had questions or needed help after the course. I would definitely take another class with course horse and an online class. I liked how I could make the dish myself instead of doing it in a group which my in-person classes were. I also felt the chef was more personable and that I could easily reach out to her with questions I had

How it Works
Description
Learn the steps to make an ice cream base & flavor it to your tastes!
One of the most famous of all desserts, there's nothing like ice cream when your sweet tooth is acting up. Though we fully support you grabbing your favorite local scoops, ice cream is surprisingly simple to make at home.
What is included:
- A private, interactive workshop led by a professional instructor
- Access to our event fulfillment team
- After you book the event, we will send you a confirmation email and Zoom details for the event
Materials Needed to Fully Participate:
Ingredients (yields a quart):
- 3 cups of heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
- Favorite toppings (sauces, dried fruits, marshmallows, etc)
Tools:
- Medium saucepan
- Whisk
- Spatula
- Two bowls (a big one and a smaller one). We will chill the mixture with an ice bath before churning the ice cream base. It's better if they are metallic and if they are previously chilled (put them in the fridge or freezer for an hour or so)
- Container to freeze the ice cream
Supported Platforms: Zoom is our recommended platform, but we can accommodate Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx if the client provides the meeting details
Pricing
- $395 for upto 10 people
- $20 per person thereafter
- We will collect the minimum at checkout as a deposit and then we'll finalize your payment when you've finalized your headcount after your event
