Description

Join us for a virtual pub crawl around the globe with a guided tasting of award-winning, distinct styles of beer. We will discuss brewing history, each style’s influence and impact on craft beer, and the innovation and art of brewing.

Have you ever wondered what makes a German beer so “authentic” or a Belgian beer so “unique”? Or what is influencing newer Italian beers? Or what connects South American beers to those in Australia and New Zealand?

All over the world, beers are celebrated for their rich history and for the unique characteristics of their homeland. Join us as we explore how these histories and characteristics have established the styles we know and love today.

This class was great! Instructor was laid back and made everyone feel at ease. He taught us a lot including the history of the beer styles and breweries, and what to look for when tasting a beer, but kept it very fun and entertaining the whole time.
