Beginning Welding Workshop

No issues so far, except the class was canceled the day before the event.

The class is great for someone like me that just bought a welder and has no idea how it works. The instructor was very good and the hands on experience was just right for a novice.

Corrina and Elise were great. They answered all of my questions as well as the others in the class. After attending I am confident I can attempt it on my own without electrocuting myself or burning the house down. If you have any questions or concerns about welding this would be a good class to learn the basics in a safe environment with a professional instructor. It is much harder than what you think or see on TV.

Great introduction to welding procedures. Instructors very knowledgeable and personable. Can’t wait to build on the basics learned in this course.

I found the class to be a truly informative and hands on experience! It has given me the basic skills to be able to build upon. Gabi is a fantastic and truly patient instructor (ask me how I know..lol!). I would recommend the class to anyone that wants a great, hands-on, instructor lead learning experience! Won’t be m last class and look forward to more!

Gina was great. Material was exactly what I wanted and needed.

I learned everything that I had hoped to learn in an environment that I found safe (important for an "industrial" process course) and enjoyable. The instructor (Gabby) was easy to understand and fun. The other students were likewise enthusiastic and fun while still being focused on what Gabby was teaching us.

Thanks for the great intro to welding class! Gabi was an excellent instructor and took the time to walk us through all the details before attempting our first welds. I am excited to get a welder and continue learning solo.

Amazing instruction! Really want to get more into welding and they taught me the basics!

The instructor was great and made everyone at ease- I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to do more welding, the cell phone holder we made only required 2 welds (not including spot welds), and getting the 4 people in this class through those two welds took the whole time, so I realize it would be near impossible to do anything more complex. The other thing I would have wanted is a little more of the technical/academic side of welding, the instructor did a great job of explaining things and safety stuff, but when I asked about the ground clamp I got kind a surface level answer and not a technical answer- small gripe. While I could want more from a 2 hr intro to welding workshop, it’s kind of unfair to expect more. Overall I had a great time and appreciated what was able to be accomplished in this brief intro to welding. The owner of the studio stopped in towards the end and helped troubleshoot a problem with the welder and talked with us for a bit, and she was also very enjoyable and enthusiastic about the class. I would definitely recommend this workshop (or any other class this studio offers) for anyone interested in welding. This is a great starting point!

I thought the class was really well taught and informative. I enjoyed it a lot and I'm glad I took it. The only thing I can think of that I would have liked to have been different would be that I would have like to have maybe some scrap material to make a couple of practice passes on first rather that to have my very first try ever to be on the piece that I was going to take home and show my friends. Other than that I thought it was a really good, well taught class.

Thorough overview of how welding and the equipment works with lots of hands on applications. Fun, interesting and informative!
