Made for kids age 10 - 18, this class is an easy, fun introduction to the world of metal arts. Kids will learn about metal shop safety, the welding processes, how to operate a welder, practice welding steel together and write their initials. This is an easy, 1 hour class with no grinding or cutting. Important: For Students below 18, a Guardian needs to sign a Waiver on their behalf.

In the Basic Forging Course, participants will learn basic blacksmithing techniques, safety, and my "3 P's" for hammering and forging. (Precision, power, then productivity, my students added a fourth- Patience)
We will be making a forged kitchen tool, a cheese knife with a little blade on one side and twist and a curl on the other end.

There is a $35 transfer fee and a 4 business days notice is required, otherwise, tuition is forfeited.
If a class does not fill or needs to be changed, we will transfer or reschedule as soon as possible.
