This class was so fun!! This is the second class I've taken with Chef Sandro. Chef Sandro is extremely personable, is always walking around giving tips and advice, and he plays some great music while we prepare and cook our dishes. My friend and I are doing a 3rd class with him in June. Check out these classes, you will NOT be disappointed. The sauce we made for our pasta dish was OUT of THIS WORLD!!!

Instructor Kim, and her amazing team, Jenny and Nubiae, kept the class swift and clear. We learned the basics of pasta-making, and got the aperitif of true New York love and history. New York is fresh Italian pasta. The simple ingredients composed a meal full of generosity and laughter, mixed with fresh pepper, parsley, and heaps of Romano. We were way too happy and too full by the end. But I'd do it til my belt popped.

I enjoyed the class and thought the knife skills training and tips were really helpful. All the class participants were given opportunities to get hands on experience cooking and tasting the food as it was prepared. It was really great to be able to eat all the dishes at the end of the class. I am looking forward to trying the recipes myself!

Amazing class- highly recommend. I walked away with a solid framework for how to prepare, cook, season and enhance the most common veggies. Rather than recipes, Jennifer taught us principles. I feel more confident to experiment in the kitchen and am excited to go to the farmer’s market.

Virtual Healthy Cooking Classes & Schools

Online healthy cooking classes and in-person healthy cooking classes each have their own distinct advantages and limitations.

Online classes offer convenience and flexibility, allowing you to learn from anywhere at any time that fits your schedule. You also have access to a diverse range of chefs and instructors from all over the world. However, online classes may not provide personalized attention and hands-on experience, which are essential for some learners. The quality of your end result may also be limited by the equipment and ingredients you have at home.

In-person classes, on the other hand, provide an immersive and interactive experience with direct access to the instructor, personalized feedback, and the ability to ask questions in real-time. The use of commercial-grade equipment and a wide variety of ingredients allows for a more authentic and high-quality cooking experience. However, in-person classes may require more time and effort to attend, and they may not be accessible to individuals with mobility or transportation issues.

The League of Kitchens is an innovative culinary venture in NYC that offers immersive cooking workshops taught by immigrants in their homes. These workshops aim to foster connections and social interaction, promote cultural engagement and exchange, and facilitate culinary learning and discovery while indulging in exceptional food and drink. The goal is to promote cross-cultural connection and understanding, while also increasing access to traditional cooking knowledge and providing immigrants with meaningful and well-compensated employment and training opportunities.
