Our Adult & Infant CPR & AED Class provides hands-on training designed to prepare participants to respond confidently during cardiac and breathing emergencies involving both adults and infants. Students learn how to recognize an emergency, perform high-quality CPR, provide effective chest compressions and rescue breaths, and safely use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The course teaches the important differences between providing CPR to an adult and providing CPR to an infant, including proper hand placement, compression techniques, and age-appropriate emergency care. Participants receive instructor-led demonstrations along with practical, hands-on skills practice to help build confidence for real-life emergency situations. Training also covers how to activate emergency medical services and provide immediate care until professional help arrives. Upon successful completion, participants receive American Red Cross certification for both Adult and Infant CPR & AED, valid for 2 years. This class is ideal for parents, caregivers, childcare professionals, educators, security professionals, and anyone who wants to be prepared to respond to a life-threatening emergency.
School Notes: Students must present acceptable photo identification per NYS DCJS requirements: a valid driver's license, valid US passport, current government-issued ID, or current military ID. No other materials needed.
