Developing a strong advocacy story can make a tremendous difference in your campaigns. While storytelling is nothing new, elements such as structure, audience attention span and message outreach have all changed significantly in recent years.

At this two-hour workshop, we’ll discuss from A-Z what it takes to build a successful storytelling campaign that will advance your advocacy agenda.

Learn how to:
  • Identify your organization’s story and align it with your advocacy message
  • Craft an advocacy or issue campaign strategy that leverages storytelling as a powerful tool
  • Recruit and train storytellers that can deliver a powerful message
  • Use tools like video, digital media, websites and in-person advocacy to tell your story

The entrance to our building is on K Street, between 21st and 22nd streets, in Washington’s central business district. Via Metro: We are within 4 blocks of the following Metro stations: Foggy Bottom (blue and orange lines), Farragut West (blue and orange lines) and Farragut North (red line). Parking: There is a parking garage in our building that is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parking rates range from $10 to $20. Please note that the rates and hours are subject to change by the parking facility and should be verified prior to parking. The garage entrance is in the service lane immediately past the front entrance to our building. There are also several parking garages along K Street as well as on the streets adjacent to our building.
