Capture incredible nighttime images the exciting GLOW art installation in Georgetown. Join Instructor Geoff Livingston for this unique nighttime photography class.
You can feel the excitement when the sun goes down and the colorful lights spread their cheer across the historic streets of Georgetown. Capture the seasonal spirit and share the joy.
We will start near the historic C&O Canal and make our way through the main streets and the cobblestone roads of Georgetown, photographing along the way.

If you haven’t tried night photography or photographed holiday lights before, we'll help you get more comfortable with this style of photography. Georgetown Glow is a great event to learn with because it has so many creative light displays and it’s all set in historic Georgetown with its federal architecture.

Participants should be familiar with their camera settings and with exposure controls such as ISO, Aperture and Shutter. We will not be able to introduce you to this material at this class. If not familiar with these topics, consider taking the DSLR Photography Basics class first.

A refund or a credit towards another class (less a $20 processing fee) can be given if cancellation notice is given more than 5 business days from the scheduled class.
If there is no cancellation notice, or it is given 5 business days or less, no refund or credit will be given. If request to reschedule is given less than business 5 days prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given.
If Capital Photography Center cancels or postpones a class due to weather or low enrollment, you can choose a full refund or a credit towards a future class.
