Learn to use the iPhone camera and go beyond taking a simple snapshot to creating a photograph that’s an artistic expression unique to your vision. Join us at the National Gallery of Art and tap into your creative side through mobile photography.
Using our iPhone cameras, we’ll explore the Museum's offerings from abstract sculptures, colorful paintings and wall hangings, to the architecture of the building as well. We’ll find endless photographic opportunities perfect for iPhone photography.
We’ll start with the basics of learning to use the iPhone camera and review the settings for optimal image capture to pro tips and techniques of exposure, composition and focus that produce the best results.
The number of photography apps available seems endless and can be very confusing when trying to choose what to purchase. We will cover some of the most exciting apps for image processing so you can achieve your artistic vision.
This class is designed for users of iOS mobile devices. The list of apps will be included in your confirmation letter and should run no more than $5.
Participants will need to bring a fully charged iPhone. A charger is a good idea too as photos quickly drain the batteries.
Please check the name and date of the class carefully.
If the school cancels or postpones a class due to weather or low enrollment, you can choose a full refund or a credit towards a future class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
