Mark MacKenzie was born and raised in Boston and settled in Seattle in the 80s. He was inspired to take up art modeling many years ago upon seeing a photo of Donatello’s statue of David. His day job is software designer, and one reason he loves figure modeling is that it is the exact opposite of working in tech.
