What you'll learn in this self improvement class:

You work with diverse teams to create amazing products.
You get why diversity is important, but when words like toxic masculinity, racism, or privilege come up, alarms go off and you don’t what to do.

You need the skills to communicate across any difference, even when the going gets tough.

In this teaser, you’ll learn why safety and curiosity are the cornerstones of communicating across difference. You’ll get a taste of what it means to stand in another persons shoes, and learn how stress gets in the way. Finally, you’ll be introduced to a model that enables you to engage difference to build trust.

You’ll leave this workshop ready to celebrate our differences, and welcome the moments when the going gets tough.

Takeaways:
  • Increased ability to see from another persons perspective
  • Understanding of how stress affects our ability to work together
  • Introduction to a model to communicate across differences
School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.
