Give as a Gift Book as Private EventDiscover the world through language from the comfort of your home! Join us for Sponge Online Classes in Japanese. Designed for elementary age kids, our weekly instructor-led online classes offer an interactive and immersive environment for language learning. These fun classes will be supplemented by videos and online content to enable students to continue exploring the language and themes they learn in class. We hope to share our passion for language and culture to children and their families across the country!
Based on the engaging and research-driven curriculum used in our centers and Elementary School Programs, the online class is geared for kids with zero to limited exposure to the target language.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Founded by Jackie Friedman-Mighdoll, Sponge was the first language program of its kind on the west coast. We opened our doors in Seattle’s Mt. Baker Neighborhood in the Fall of 2005 by offering a few classes taught by a very passionate group of teachers to some very young students.
